This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Manifesting Bestie mobile application, our website at manifestingbestie.com, and related digital content and services (together, the “Services”).
By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
What changed in this update: In April 2026 we introduced AI-powered coaching inside Manifesting Bestie. This policy now explains what we collect when you use AI coaching, who at our company can see those conversations and why, how your formula progress and saved favorites are stored, how we use cookies on our website, and what happens to your information when you request deletion.
1. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide Directly
When you create an account or use the Services, we collect:
Journaling entries and AI coaching conversations may contain sensitive personal information — emotional reflections, spiritual content, personal goals, or details about your life, relationships, or wellbeing. You choose what to enter, and this content is stored in your account so you can return to it.
Please do not enter information you would not want stored, and please read Section 4 before using AI coaching so you understand who can access those conversations.
You can use the app without the journaling or AI coaching features.
- Name
- Email address
- Password (encrypted)
- Profile preferences
- Journaling entries and written reflections
- Reflections and responses you submit inside the formula
- Messages you send to the AI coach, including goals, intentions, and personal context you choose to share
- Customer support communications
B. Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Services, we automatically collect:
- IP address
- Device identifiers
- Device model
- Operating system version
- App usage data
- Session duration
- Diagnostic and crash logs
- Device notification token and reminder settings (if you enable notifications)
We do not collect:
- Phone numbers
- Exact location data
- Payment card details
C. AI Coaching Conversations
When you use AI coaching, we collect and store:

- The messages and prompts you send
- The responses the AI generates
- Conversation history and timestamps
- Context used to personalize responses, such as your recent activity and stated goals
D. Formula Progress and App Activity
As you move through the formula, we collect and store:
- Which practices, steps, meditations, lectures, reflections, and exercises you start, complete, or skip
- Completion dates and progress history
- Meditations, lectures, practices, and other content you save or favorite
- In-app preferences and settings
E. Subscription and Payment Information
All payments are processed securely through:
- Apple App Store
- Google Play Store
We do not collect or store your payment card information. All subscription purchase data is handled by the respective app store under its own terms.
2. Subscription Plans
Monthly Subscription (Manifesting Bestie Premium) — 1-month auto-renewable subscription, USD $79.00 per month.
Yearly Subscription (Manifesting Bestie Premium) — 12-month auto-renewable subscription, USD $790.00 per year.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period. Renewal charges are processed by the platform through which the subscription was originally purchased.
You may manage or cancel your subscription through the applicable platform:
- Website subscriptions: If you purchased your subscription through the Manifesting Bestie website using Stripe, you may manage or cancel it through your account on the website.
- Apple App Store subscriptions: If you purchased your subscription through Apple, you must manage or cancel it through your Apple App Store account settings.
- Google Play subscriptions: If you purchased your subscription through Google Play, you must manage or cancel it through your Google Play account settings.
Deleting the app or your Manifesting Bestie account does not automatically cancel your subscription.
Refund requests for subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google are handled by Apple or Google under their respective refund policies. Refund requests for subscriptions purchased through the Manifesting Bestie website are handled in accordance with the refund policy applicable to website purchases.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not send marketing emails.
Push notifications can be disabled at any time in your device settings.
- Create and manage your account
- Provide subscription access
- Store and maintain your journaling entries and reflections
- Provide AI coaching and personalize responses to you
- Remember your goals, preferences, and progress across sessions
- Display your formula progress and suggest next steps
- Send reminders and notifications you have enabled
- Send service-related and account communications
- Review the quality and safety of AI coaching responses (see Section 4)
- Improve app performance and troubleshoot problems
- Prevent fraud or misuse
- Comply with legal obligations
4. AI Coaching: How It Works and Who Can See Your Conversations
Please read this section carefully before using AI coaching.
Your consent
AI coaching is optional. Before you use it for the first time, the app asks you to review and accept two things: an AI Support Disclaimer explaining what the assistant is and is not, and a data consent explaining what we collect, who processes it, who can read it, and how to withdraw. You must accept both before AI coaching becomes available. We record the date, time, and version of what you accepted.
You can withdraw your consent at any time under Settings → AI Coaching. Withdrawing turns off AI coaching and stops further collection. It does not delete your account, and it does not by itself delete past conversations — to delete those, use the deletion process in Section 9.
If you decline, the rest of the app remains fully available to you.
How responses are generated
AI coaching is powered by OpenAI. When you send a message to your AI coach, that message — along with relevant context such as recent conversation history — is transmitted to OpenAI's API, which generates a response. Your conversations are then stored in your Manifesting Bestie account so you can return to them.
How OpenAI handles your content
Under OpenAI's API terms, content sent through the API is not used to train OpenAI's models. OpenAI may retain API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days to operate the service and detect abuse, after which the content is deleted unless OpenAI is legally required to retain it longer.
OpenAI processes this data under its own privacy terms, available at openai.com.
We do not train AI models on your content
We do not use your journal entries, reflections, or AI coaching conversations to train or fine-tune any AI model of our own. If this ever changes, we will notify you in advance and give you a meaningful choice before doing so.
Human review of AI coaching conversations — please read
Specifically:
AI coaching conversations are not fully private. They can be, and are, reviewed by people at our company.
- Flora Szivos and a limited number of authorized personnel can access AI coaching conversations to review the quality and safety of AI-generated responses.
- Our web development team, which maintains and updates the AI system on a regular basis, has technical access to conversation data in the course of maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting the system.
We review conversations for a specific and limited purpose: to confirm that the AI is providing safe, appropriate guidance and is not overstepping into medical, psychological, or other professional territory where it does not belong. We monitor this because we take our responsibility to you seriously, and because AI systems can produce responses that are inaccurate or inappropriate.
Review is limited to the purposes described here. We do not review conversations to judge you, we do not share them with anyone outside our company except our service providers as described in Section 10, and we never sell them.
This monitoring is a quality and safety measure, not a crisis-response service.
We do not monitor conversations in real time, and we cannot and do not guarantee that we will see, or respond to, any particular message. If you are in crisis, please use the emergency resources described in our Terms & Conditions rather than the AI coach.
Private journal entries
We do not routinely read your private journal entries as part of normal operations. However, journal entries are stored in our database, and authorized personnel and our development team have technical access to that database. Entries may be accessed when necessary to resolve a technical problem, investigate a security issue or misuse of the Services, comply with a legal obligation, or respond to a support request you submit.
Retention of AI conversations
AI coaching conversations are stored in your account until you delete them or delete your account, subject to Section 8.
5. Cookies and Website Technologies
Our website at manifestingbestie.com uses cookies and similar technologies. Our mobile app does not use advertising cookies.

You can manage your preferences at any time through the cookie settings link on our website. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their own settings, though blocking essential cookies may prevent you from logging in.
We do not use advertising or marketing pixels, and we do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or track you across other websites.
6. Data Storage and Security
All user data, including journaling entries and AI coaching conversations, is stored on secure Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers using industry-standard encryption and access controls. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Access to user content by our personnel is limited to those who need it for the purposes described in this policy.
While we implement reasonable security measures, no system can be guaranteed completely secure. By using the Services, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
7. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed or stored in the United States or other regions where AWS and OpenAI operate. If you are located outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
We implement appropriate safeguards where required by law.
8. Data Retention
We keep different categories of information for different periods:

We may retain limited information beyond these periods where required by law, or as necessary for fraud prevention, security, billing records, or resolving disputes.
9. Account and Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing support@manifestingbestie.com from the email address on your account.
Deletion includes your profile information, journaling entries and reflections, AI coaching history, formula progress, saved favorites, and app preferences.
Timeline: We remove your personal information and content from our active systems within 30 days of a verified request. Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
Exceptions: We may retain limited information where required by law, or as necessary for billing records, fraud prevention, security, or resolving disputes, as described in Section 8.
Important: Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are managed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account and must be canceled there.
10. Third-Party Services
The Services rely on the following providers, each of which processes data under its own privacy terms:

We also work with our web development contractor, which maintains the app and AI system and has technical access to systems containing user data in the course of that work, as described in Section 4.
11. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Data
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes. We do not use advertising or marketing pixels.
We share information only with the service providers listed in Section 10, who process it on our behalf to operate the Services, and where required by law or to protect the safety and rights of our users or our company.
12. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Receive a portable copy of your data
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, contact support@manifestingbestie.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
13. Age Requirement
The Services are intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Services.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact support@manifestingbestie.com.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes to how we collect, use, or share your information — including any change to who can access your AI coaching conversations or journal entries — we will notify you through the app or by email before those changes take effect.
For non-material changes, updates will be posted here with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance.
